In addition to individual state permits there are also regional permits available. You can purchase one oversize permit to cover several states. The main three groups are,
SHASTO (southern regional), WASHTO (western regional) and New England consortium.

Regional permits may be purchased from any member state for that region. Truck and load must meet an "envelope size" depending on the state agreements. Larger loads will need to be permitted individually.
